| The
death of a loved one brings with it a variety of emotions
as well as feelings of shock, disbelief, anger, guilt
and depression. Grief has no set timetable and the recovery
period is different for every person. It is important
during this time to care for ones self and to allow
the healing process to begin. It is normal to have some
days which are better than others during this process.
Our service does not end with the funeral but continues
during the weeks and months after the service as we
help guide you toward the information and support you
may need. We are pleased to be able to provide you with
on line access to Dr. Alan Wolfelt’s Grief Library
where you will find a wide variety of resources for
mourners. At the funeral home we have the Care Notes
series of publications available at all times free of
charge. These brochures cover a wife variety of topics
such as Cherishing Your Memories of a Loved One, Finding
Your Way After the Death of a Spouse, Sharing Your Grief,
Easing Your Loss, and many others. We also have a small
lending library of books on grief.
